IF I

Don’t ever say that you’re not important for me

You are my only life

If I could only say I love you

I’ll promise it to do

But I can’t

You just treat me as your ordinary friend

And I don’t want to force you

To say I love you too

How could I show you

That my love for you is true?

Maybe if I kiss you

And say “believe me it is true”…

I LOVE YOU....

The moment I opened my heart and let you in
I saw this great love starting to begin.

I opened my eyes to a vision of you
I hope, I pray your feelings are true.
I have loved and I have paid the cost
And I have felt the pain of the love I lost.
But, now, I think I have truly found
An Angel who walks upon the ground.
You go beyond all limits for me
Just to show your love endlessly.
I could search my whole life through
And never find another 'YOU'.

You are so special that I wanted you to know
I truly, completely love you so.

BREAK_UP STRIKE

FALLING APART
I've given away my heart,
So it could be torn into pieces.
She left me with the feelings of betrayal
and being forgotten.
I'm so in love, yet so alone,
with 2 weeks  thrown away.
Feeling her absence hurts the most.
My constant urge to call is almost talking over,
While on the other side, my cycle of feelings starts with rage.
Slowly going into sadness, rage again, desperation, devastation, and finally denial.
Every morning I open my eyes to emptiness,
Seeing a long black hallway with nothing in between
This so called love has taken over my life, leaving me distracted.
Days pass by and now, my emotions are going crazy. leaving me no choice but to vomit.
To empty my  pessimistic thoughts.
To stop thinking that my life is over. to stop my tears from falling every night. to stop my feeling like my heart has been shattered into pieces. The hardest part of moving on is the jealousy on top of all my misery. But soon enough, I'll go to bed realizing I survived this struggle. I need to escape my depression to continue breathing. And regain my strength to love again.

what is love?

What is love? It is one of the most difficult questions for the mankind. Centuries have passed by, relationships have bloomed and so has love. But no one can give the proper definition of love. To some Love is friendship set on fire for others Maybe love is like luck. You have to go all the way to find it. No matter how you define it or feel it, love is the eternal truth in the history of mankind.

Love is patient, love is kind. It has no envy, nor it boasts itself and it is never proud. It rejoices over the evil and is the truth seeker. Love protects; preserves and hopes for the positive aspect of life. Always stand steadfast in love, not fall into it. It is like the dream of your matter of affection coming true.   Love can occur between two or more individuals. It bonds them and connects them in a unified link of trust, intimacy and interdependence. It enhances the relationship and comforts the soul. Love should be experienced and not just felt. The depth of love can not be measured. Look at the relationship between a mother and a child. The mother loves the child unconditionally and it can not be measured at all.   A different dimension can be attained between any relationships with the magic of love. Love can be created. You just need to focus on the goodness of the other person. If this can be done easily, then you can also love easily. And remember we all have some positive aspect in us, no matter how bad our deeds maybe. And as God said Love all

Depending on context, love can be of different varieties. Romantic love is a deep, intense and unending. It shared on a very intimate and interpersonal and sexual relationship.  The term Platonic love, familial love and religious love are also matter of great affection. It is more of desire, preference and feelings. The meaning of love will change with each different relationship and depends more on its concept of depth, versatility, and complexity. But at times the very existence of love is questioned. Some say it is false and meaningless. It says that it never exist, because there has been many instances of hatred and brutality in relationships. The history of our world has witnessed many such events. There has been hatred between brothers, parents and children, sibling rivalry and spouses have failed each other. Friends have betrayed each other; the son has killed his parents for the throne, the count is endless. Even the modern generation is also facing with such dilemmas everyday. But love is not responsible for that. It is us, the people, who have forgotten the meaning of love and have undertaken such gruesome apathy.

In the past the study of philosophy and religion has done many speculations on the phenomenon of love. But love has always ruled, in music, poetry, paintings, sculptor and literature. Psychology has also done lot of dissection to the essence of love, just like what biology, anthropology and neuroscience has also done to it.

Psychology portrays love as a cognitive phenomenon with a social cause. It is said to have three components in the book of psychology: Intimacy, Commitment, and Passion. Also, in an ancient proverb love is defined as a high form of tolerance. And this view has been accepted and advocated by both philosophers and scholars.   Love also includes compatibility. But it is more of journey to the unknown when the concept of compatibility comes into picture. Maybe the person whom we see in front of us, may be least compatible than the person who is miles away. We might talk to each other and portray that we love each other, but practically we do not end up into any relationship. Also in compatibility, the key is to think about the long term successful relationship, not a short journey. We need to understand each other and must always remember that no body is perfect.

Be together, share your joy and sorrow, understand each other, provide space to each other, but always be there for each others need. And surely love will blossom to strengthen your relationship with your matter of affection.

one of my thoughts

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

9 Things I Hate About Everyone

1. People who point at their wrist asking for the time... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2. People who are willing to get off their a** to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn Right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film, "did ya see that?" No Loser, I paid 90php to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor!

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?"... Didn't give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8. When people say "life is short". What the hell??? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!!! What can you do thats longer?

9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?" If the bus came, would I be standing here???

this story is just made by imagination… Nobody in the story represents someone I know… Hope you enjoy reading my first post…

Jorie had a boy friend. But the guy always thought of her as one of his friends because they were friends since high school. But as for Jorie, she cannot deny the fact that she was totally in love with Levy for the past 7 years that they’ve been together.
Though she was vulgar in telling the three words that she felt for Levy, the latter just turns a smile at her and hands her a little pink stuff toy.
For the past 9 months, she would wait for levy to pick her up for them to walk to school together.
Most of their other friends even pick on them telling that the two would look better if they were a couple. “It’s too impossible. Levy doesn’t even get serious with all the things I tell him…” was all that Jorie had to reply.
“Levy, do you wanna watch a movie with me? Jorie said there’s a good love story airing tonight at the movie house…”
“I cant”, Levy replied.
“But why?”
“I don’t feel like watching those kinds of film.
Find somebody else. I don’t wanna waste your time sitting with me on that movie house when all I am thinking of is how long I’d be sitting there to watch the movie.”
“Ah. Okay.”
“Besides, I have a friend to meet. So,
I really cannot accompany you. Sorry.”
“Levy, I Love you!” Jorie said waiting for Levy’s reaction.
But the latter just smiled and handed her another stuffed toy before going away.
He was always like that. He meets girls in front of Jorie.
For him, Jorie was just one of his girl friends’.
“LOVE” would only be heard from Jorie but never at Levy.
Levy never said I Love You to any girls before.
She never even saw him showing what love truly is.
All he does before the end of the day is to give her a stuff toy which she thinks is kind of weird for a guy.
But what she concluded in her mind is that it was all
Levy could unfortunately give back to her — not the one she has been longing for.
That was how Levy ignored the three words coming from Jorie.
He just hand her a stuff toy and walk past her as if he was running away.
The toys that were given by Levy filled the entire room of Jorie one by one.
There were too many of them that she even had the idea of putting the toys in cartons and place it under her bed to maximize the space of her room.
Then came the 19th birthday of Jorie. She was too excited that morning when she woke up.
She had pictured a party with Levy and her friends but to her dismay,
Levy didn’t manage to come. She didn’t even had a single call from Levy informing her that he wouldn’t come. She felt so agitated and wanted to scream and cry out loud because once again, Levy made her feel that she’s not important for her.
After the simple lunch party, Jorie went outside to take a walk.
There by the street she saw Levy with another girl.
Levy was holding a stuff toy bigger than what he usually gives her – way way much bigger.
She felt so much pain contained in her system that she ran towards the Levy and grabbed his left hand pulling him to come with her.
The other girl was left behind shocked of what happened.
“Don’t you know what today is?”
Jorie said with a high tone.
“Today? Huh?” was Levy’s reply crumpling his forehead.
Jorie felt very sad and stupid at the same time for expecting that Levy would remember her birthday. He turned around as if nothing happened. Then Jorie shouted… “Wait‼!”
“You have something to say?” Levy asked.
“Tell me, tell me that you also love me‼!”
“What?” Levy replied with a slightly high but controlled tone.
“Tell me‼!” Jorie shouted as tears started to contain in her eyes.
“Jorie, I don’t want to say – that I love somebody so easily.
If you are desperate to hear it, then you better find someone else…”
Levy replied as he walked close to her before turning back.
After saying that, he ran off while Jorie’s legs started to collapse to the ground. It was clear now that Levy never really loved her and here she was beside the street crying all her tears out because the pain had already broken her heart. After that day, Jorie decided that she’d forget of Levy.
The next days, Jorie continued with her usual chores at home and in school. Levy would just continue to give her stuff toys. But what made the pain to resurface was that Jorie saw Levy again on the street with another woman. Though she didn’t want to get affected, she still felt the same pain she had the first time she saw him with another girl. She hated the feeling.
She ran towards their house and to her room. She took all the stuff toys and threw it everywhere. Then, the phone rang. It was him, Levy. He told her to come out to the bus stop near their house. Jorie tried to calm herself down and proceeded to the bus stop. Upon seeing Levy, she couldn’t help but to hate him for what he has been doing to her.
“Jorie, I thought you were really pissed. Thank God you came!” Levy said in his opening salvo. Soon, after getting close to him, Levy held out a bigger stuffed toy that was quite different from the usual.
“I don’t need it‼!” Jorie said.
“What? But why?…” Levy asked
“Because you never said what I needed to hear…”, she replied.
“I’m sorry…” he apologized in a low but clear voice before bowing down and handing her the toy.
“I said I don’t need it‼!” Jorie said then tapped the toy that feel on the center of the street.
Levy walked to where the toy had been thrown and squatted to pick it up.
“Levy, Move‼!” Jorie shouted. Then a loud honk was heard… BOOM! – a sound that terrified Jorie. Next thing she saw was Levy lying breathless at the center of the street with the stuffed toy between his arms.
That’s how he went away from her… that’s how he went away without opening his eyes to tell her a single word…
After the incident, Jorie felt very sad and guilt coveted her entire system. She had to go everyday with sadness of losing him. And after spending a month of being numb, she took out the stuffed toys Levy had given her and started counting it as she reminisce the memories that they had.
“ONE… TWO… THREE… FOUR…” she continued counting ‘til it ended in 286. She started to cry once again with one stuffed toy in her hand. She hugged it tightly as she tries to remember all the happy thought Levy had left her then suddenly – “I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU”. She dropped the stuffed toy shocked of what she heard. “I LOVE YOU??” She picked the dolls and pressed the heart of the thing then again, she heard the familiar voice that made her feel LOVE. She pressed all the stuffed toys’ heart as it piled on the other side of her bed having the same message from the first. She realized that Levy didn’t want to say I love you to her because his heart was already by her side protecting her as she sleeps. She took the last stuff toy, the largest one that Levy gave him – the stuff toy that paid for his life. It still has the blood stains from Levy.
She took a deep breath and pushed the heart of the toy. Then, a voice recording started to play…
Jorie, do you know what today is??? We have loved each other for 287 days. Do you know what 287 are??? Jorie, sorry because I never had the chance to tell you that I love you for even just one time. It’s because I’m shy to tell what I truly feel for you. If you forgive me and take this 287th stuff toy, I promise to tell you that i love you everyday ‘til I die. I Love you so much Jorie… More than you know…
Then, tears came down profusely from her face. Jorie didn’t knew that Levy loved her because he was shy to tell it to her. But he loved her until his last minute. And the 287 stuffed toys represent hiw great his love for her is…###

Twenty Five Years & Counting.....

Maria was decorating her house for Christmas along with her sister and her best friend Santana. The phone was ringing repeatedly and by the time Maria answers the call, it was getting disconnected. Given her impulsive nature, Maria couldn’t stop herself from sending a text message to the number that flashed on the caller ID. She was waiting for a reply, but to her surprise, there was no response.

It was Christmas and after the night service she was wishing her family and friends a happy holiday, when she got a call from the same number. This time she was curious to know who the person was. She answered the call and as soon as the person from the other end heard Maria’s voice he conveyed Christmas wishes and quickly hung up.  Maria did not pay much attention to the incident.  She was busy with her family, and Christmas celebrations.

Little did she know, she would be getting calls from this stranger on every holiday occasion, from Christmas, New Years to Valentine’s Day and Easter Sunday.

It was 18th may; she again received a call from the same number.  The stranger wished her happy birthday.   This time Maria couldn’t hold her curiosity any longer, she called him back.

The stranger disconnected her call 3-4 times, but as she was calling him repeatedly he was forced to answer her call. She popped out all the questions that had been on her mind for the past five months.

In a nasty tone of voice, Maria asked the stranger, who he was.

The stranger was humble in his reply and stated his name, and the reason for his calls.

He explained that he had seen her at the market and was anxious to meet her, yet was too shy to approach her.  A mutual friend had provided him with her cell number and was made to promise that he wouldn’t tell her/his identity.

Maria was impressed and honored that she had a secret admirer.

The stranger had hung up after his humble explanation.  Afterwards, Maria found it hard to whole heartedly participate in her birthday celebrations, as she couldn’t help thinking about the stranger.

Maria called the stranger the next day and requested that they meet.  They decided to meet at a park which was two blocks away from her home.

Maria was eager to meet the cell phone stranger, but as a precaution, asked her older brother to walk with her to the park, on the next day.

Maria and her brother reached the park before time.  The brother stayed back and talked with others in the park while Maria waiting at the swings, for her secret admirer.  She was mentally preparing herself, not to over-react, to any situation.

As she was thinking to herself, she suddenly heard someone call her name. She turned around and to her surprise, she saw a guy who stood 6 feet tall with quite an impressive personality. He introduced himself as Burt.

Maria and Burt started speaking regularly over the phone. Initially it started with 15-20 minutes and conversations started to last for hours.  Their relationship took an entire new shape, they knew that they were more than good friends.

They started meeting each other almost five times a week.

It was a year now, and with every passing day Burt and Maria were getting closer and closer. Maria’s expectations were increasing, and she was waiting for the day when Burt would propose her.

Burt was a guy who believed in planning his every move; he wanted to surprise Maria by expressing his feelings for her on the Valentines Day.  As usual he called her and asked her to meet him at the park.   Burt had decided to make it a memorable day,  which could be cherished, for years to come.

They met at the park; Maria wore a stunning red gown for the town’s Valentine’s Day, dance.  Her thick long hair, hung down her back.

Burt couldn’t take his eyes off her, nor did she take her eyes off him.  They were silent and exchanges smiles for what seemed like a life time.  Burt helped Maria get into the front seat of the car, before driving to  the community center on the other side of the park.

He motion for Maria to join him inside the building.  She knew, there would be a surprise, she just didn’t know what.

As she walked into the closed window community center, she saw that the entire place was decorated with red and pink balloons.  There were candles lit all around the room, with fresh flowers placed adjacent to the candles.  It was a pleasant sight.   When she turned,   Burt was on his knees with a ring in his hand.  They both were quite for few minutes as Burt placed the engagement ring onto Maria’s hand.

She was expecting the three golden words “I Love You”, but Burt swept her off her feet and held her tightly.
Tears rolled down Maria’s cheek and her face turned pink. For a minute she couldn’t react. Her mind was blank, she couldn’t think of anything other than accepting his proposal.  She was overwhelmed by his gesture.  It was the perfect and the most romantic proposal.

Several weeks later, while keeping company at the park. Burt’s cell phone begin to ring.
It was Burt’s mother.  Burt walked away from Maria as he spoke with his mother.

Once the conversation had ended, he walked back to Maria, slowly.  He informed Maria that he had to fly to California, immediately, because, his mom was ill.  He then went on to promise her that he would return back to her within a week.

A week passed and Maria had not heard from Burt.  She made every effort to call him, but the calls did not connect.

It was Sunday morning and Maria was on her way back home, after attending morning services in the cathedral. She jumped from joy when the caller ID displayed Burt’s name.

Burt informed her that he was back and wanted to meet her immediately, at the park where they usually met.

Maria called her mother and told her that she would be about an hour late getting home for Sunday dinner.

When she reached the park she saw Burt standing there. She didn’t notice his expression; she just ran towards him and hugged him. But within moments, she realized that there was no reaction from Burt.

Before she could say anything Burt informed her that his mom did not agree to their relationship and that they have to depart. At first she thought that he was kidding, but he repeated himself and that made her know, that he was serious.

She couldn’t believe that it was the same guy, whose gestures had touched her heart the very first time they met. She didn’t ask for any explanation from him. She just bid good bye and turned to go home.  She waited for Burt to call her name, however, no such action occurred.  And she dared not turn around and look.  Maria, kept walking, with her head high, until she knew she was out of his sight.

The pain of the separation had proven to be too much for the young couple.  Maria became ill shortly after her separation from Burt, nothing serious, the doctor had said, just lost of appetite, energy and vitality.  The doctor labeled it the flue.  Maria labeled it, a broken heart.

Fortunately, Burt’s mother had recovered from her serious illness and suddenly had a change of heart about her son’s selection, for a wife.  The disappointment and pain from his break up with Maria, was obvious to his mother, and she knew exactly why he responded to her wellness, with coolness.

Now it was 25 years later, and Burt softly woke Maria up on their 25th wedding anniversary ..........
